SOMETHING FISHY

SOMETHING FISHY

Overview: Something Fishy is a simple but addictive arcade-style game where your goal is to devour your way to the top of the undersea food chain. Featuring rich color graphics, music and sound effects (on supporting handsets), entertaining animation and fast action, this game is loads of fun. In Something Fishy, you are a small fish named Walter who must eat smaller fish while avoiding being eaten by larger fish. You control Walter by making him swim left, right, up, or down using the arrow keys or the numeric keypad keys. After Walter eats enough small fish (by swimming into them), he will grow slightly so that he can eat bigger fish. However, Walter must now avoid even bigger fish that are trying to eat him. Walter must also avoid a very large and very fast shark that appears from time to time. The game is over after Walter has been eaten three times. The game has a custom menu system and automatically saves the state of on ongoing game upon exit so that the same game session can be resumed at a later time. All these features make Something Fishy the perfect game for anyone with a few minutes to spare who is looking for a quick dose of maximum fun.

Game Play: The goal is to score points by making your fish, Walter, eat as many smaller fish as he can, while avoiding being eaten by the larger fish or shark. At start up, Walter is the small orange fish in the middle of the game screen. To eat a fish, move Walter into the target fish:
Move UP using the UP or 2 keys.
Move DOWN using the DOWN or 5 or 8 keys.
Move LEFT using the LEFT or 1 or 4 keys.
Move RIGHT using the RIGHT or 3 or 6 keys.
The movement keys also control Walter's speed. Practice to control his movement accurately.
Walter has only 3 lives before the game is over.
With each fish he eats, Walter grows larger and is able to eat bigger and bigger fish as follows:
After eating 5 fish, Walter grows from Size 1 to Size 2.
After 15 fish, he grows from Size 2 to Size 3.
After 25 fish, he grows from Size 3 to Size 4, etc.
Every eaten fish is worth points, but larger fish score more points.
At all times, Walter must avoid being eaten by the shark. The shark appears more often as the game progresses.
At any time during the game, press either of the softkeys to return to the main menu.
