BULL FIGHT
Overview:
Bullfight is a game of "man versus beast"
in the bullfight ring. One player plays the side of
the matador and the other plays the bull. In each
round, the matador must choose to stand to the left,
to the right, or behind the red cape. The bull must
choose to charge to the left, to the right, or right
into the red cape. The matador scores one point
for each time the bull charges and misses him, but
the bull scores one point for each time he hits the
matador. If the matador is skillful and lucky, he
will win the game by artfully evading the bull several
times. But the matador had better be careful-the bull wounds
the matador with each successful charge.
It takes the bull only a few hits to win the game.

Game Play - Single Player:
After starting a single-player game session, each player must
choose whether to play the matador or the bull. Once sides
are chosen, Bullfight is played in rounds in which both the
matador and the bull must select a move. The matador must
decide whether to stand to the left of the red cape, to the
right of the cape, or behind the cape. The bull must choose
to charge to the left, to the right, or straight ahead. When
both players have chosen their moves, the moves are compared
to determine whether the bull has hit or missed the matador. If
the bull has missed the matador then the matador scores one point.
If the bull has hit the matador, then the bull scores one point.
Occasionally (determined randomly within the game) the bull
will brush by the matador and cause him to stumble; in this
case, neither the matador nor the bull scores a point. Play
continues in subsequent rounds until either the matador wins
by scoring 3-5 points (depends upon the carrier) or
the bull wins by scoring 2-3 points (depends upon the carrier).
Game
Play - Two Player:
In the two-player version of Bullfight, a virtual environment
of rooms and lobbies is used to manage games between players.
When a player first enters the Bullfight two-player version,
the player is in the virtual Main Hall of this game environment. The
player must move into a lobby and then into a room in this
lobby in order to play a game. Bullfight has two distinct
lobbies. One lobby is the "multiplayer arena" and
is set up so that the environment itself will select an opponent
for any player who enters this lobby. The second lobby has
private rooms that a player can select specifically. The first
lobby is appropriate for players who wish to "challenge all
comers" while the second lobby is appropriate for players
who wish to play against their friends. Bullfight provides
players with multiple opportunities to move in and out of
rooms and lobbies within this virtual environment. Once two
players have entered the same room in this virtual environment,
game play begins. Play proceeds the same as in the single-
player version. However, at the end of the game, the Bullfight
high score server records the winner of the game, and players
are given an opportunity to send messages to each other.
